Its geographical position is the ideal starting point for excursions to the world-famous beaches of Balos, Falasarna and Elafonisi, the numerous archaeological sites of Crete, the spectacular White Mountains with their plains and gorges, the picturesque cafés and the local taverns in the small villages hidden in the valleys surrounding the villas.
